Quality Assurance Engineer, Brasov

You will use your solid knowledge of software design and development together with planning and management skills to hone a high-level vision for our products. You will support the team to execute that vision by planning, coordinating, and managing all aspects of Flashnet’s CMS platform components and by leveraging the latest available technologies in the field of IoT, energy management and Smart Cities.

• At least 3-5 years of experience in project management or a similar role
• Experience with Java, Microservices, relational and non-relational databases with a good understanding of its ecosystems
• Experience with IoT, AWS, and Big Data is an advantage
• Entrepreneurial-minded and driven self-starter with extensive experience in an agile/adaptable environment
• You are comfortable making decisions with limited data
• You have worked in an agile environment and are familiar with Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence)
• Experience collaborating with a team of programmers and testers with varying skill sets
• You are familiar with different designs and architectural patterns
• Excellent written and verbal communication; good knowledge of English

• A good understanding of the project’s goals and objectives
• Define the roadmap and assure its execution
• Estimating tasks, monitoring their quality, and execution
• Manage the deployment strategy
• You will supervise and coordinate the teams throughout the development life cycle to ensure product readiness
• You will supervise and assure the continuous operation of the product
• Identification and reporting of project risks and delays that might occur; implement mitigation strategies
• Motivating and guiding the team to embrace proactivity, skills rotation, an information exchange
• Monitoring development, staging, and resource optimization
• Defining upgrade procedures and plans, backup and recovery
• Defining and maintaining the development, publishing, and architecture environments
• Liaising with the client to establish and prioritize needs and development
• Defining development Sprints and story acceptance criteria; support decomposition of requirements and specifications
• Presentation and evaluation of development stages
• Conduct effective project management to ensure key project deadlines are met
